Always the Best Food, breakfast, lunch and dinner. My all time favorite is the Roadrunner sandwich, usually for lunch, and they have a great Prime Rib dinner too. The staff is Always very attentive, never have to wait getting their attention. All in all a Great atmosphere. Lots of old stuff at both places.

I was introduced to Sam's by a good friend and quickly became a regular. Had my first (homemade by Sam) piece of strawberry pie here. Divine! Love the clam chowder with shrimp. Huge freshly made biscuits are buttery, light and fluffy. The salsa on your table did not come out of a jar, it was made in the kichen. I've had some smooth lattes and decent Bloody Mary's. The staff works together like a loving family, hustling and bustling through tiny spaces, always ready with a smile and a talent for making you feel at home. The decor is American kitsch in a roadside museum sort of style. They're too good not to give a try and remember to tip your server well!

Great food, Great Service. It's been in business for 30+ years for a reason. It's fairly small so go early on the weekends for breakfast or expect to wait.

Fine scene for delicious American food. i like it here, great food & service. i had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here. the bill was fair for the quality of the food. menu is like a place in san francisco i loved.
